A day to try out a few things for the 117km Karfreitag Gravel route South of the Elbe that Adde had scouted.
On my bike (yes, my Yeti Arc X) I threw on a Brooks B13 saddle with carbon rails. For longish rides like these, I’d rather sacrifice weight for comfort and comfortable it was 🐣
I also saved some weight using a 50mm lens instead of the Sigma 24mm lens that I had on the Ride for a Reason weekend. Although the weight saving were highly appreciated, the crop factor was too extreme, which meant I had to have more time composing shots.

Lastly, I also tried out the Insta360 X2 camera thanks to Kathi. I have to figure the optimal setting for rides, but it’s definitely a nice addition. All in all, an epic day on the bike 🌞 —Jeremy
