Join us on the 12th of September as we honor the queen stage of the Vuelta a España with a 415m of climbing and watch party afterward at Cake Cycling Club.
As you know, there are no mountains to climb here in Hamburg. That said, we've created a route with as much climbing as can be found including a circuit that includes Tinsdaler Kirchweg, Grotiusweg and Kösterbergstraße.
We have three circuits of the Riessener Landstraße - Tinsdaler Kirchenweg in the route but, you have the option of doing all three or just one at a pace that works best for you.
This is a no drop, social ride meaning: if you decide to do one loop or three we'll wait for you no matter how many circuits you want to do.
Afterwards, we'll head back to Cake Cycling Club to enjoy some cake, refreshments and watch the tail-end of the queen stage of Vuelta a España.

What is the queen stage of Vuelta you ask?
The queen stage of Vuelta a España covers 186.8 kilometers and features approximately 5,000 meters of elevation gain across five categorized climbs. The stage culminates in a brutal Hors Catégorie ascent of the Collado del Alguacil, which measures 8.3 kilometers at an average gradient of 10%.
